ACUTE’s consulting work combines quick response times with expertise in the Occupational Health & Safety Act and Ministry of Labour regulations. From ACUTE’s central location in Waterloo, staff will travel to a client’s site to provide h
onest and confidential assessments of a company’s needs. ACUTE will also provide help to bring the client to “due diligence” on all the regulations in time to meet and pass Ministry inspections.

ACUTE's staff have developed an easy-to-use system which walks workers and supervisors through the Lock-Out/Tag-Out procedures on even the most complex machinery. A photo step-by-step outlines how to run through the process safely and efficiently.

Health & Safety Plans for Hazardous Waste Site Work
Customized plans can be developed that fit your needs and protect your workers on the job. ACUTE staff will work directly with your personnel to develop a site plan the can be executed safely while maximizing productivity.

WHMIS (Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System)
ACUTE's staff have years of experience in the field and share their knowledge with your workforce. The three- to four-hour seminars engage your workers and educate them on essentials like employer, supplier and employee requirements; workplace and supplier labels; hazard symbols; understanding Material Safety Data Sheets; and routes of entry/exposure to chemicals.

Confined Space Entry
ACUTE's staff members have worked in over 1,000 confined spaces and can bring that experience to your job site. They can develop a plan for your confined space work or can be called upon to respond to your confined space entry project needs.
