Workplace Specific Hazard Training

Air Monitoring on Tank Top
ACUTE offers a multitude of courses to assist your Joint Health & Safety Committee in achieving Part Two Certification through the WSIB Certification program. As an employer you are responsible to determine your training needs based on significant hazards in your workplace. Significant hazards can be determined by answering the following questions about any hazards present in your workplace...
  • Has the hazard contributed to a workplace injury or illness? What is its potential for future injury or illness?
  • What types or severity of injury/illness could occur frim exposure to the hazard?
  • Has the hazard contributed to "near misses"? What is the likelihood of these causing injury or illness now or in the future?
  • How many workers are exposed to or likely to come in contact with the hazard?
  • Has hazard testing (measurement) been conducted to assist in making these decisions?

  • Once you have determined which hazards are present in your workplace, ACUTE can provide hazard specific training for many of the hazards present in all sectors of industry. Training includes handouts, videos, quizzes and certificates of training upon successful completion.
